Terms of service

Last updated 29 August 2026.

1. What tubem3 is

tubem3 is a personal, non-commercial YouTube client. It is not sold, not advertised in, and not distributed through any application store. It is built by its author for his own devices.

2. YouTube’s terms still apply

tubem3 uses the YouTube API Services. By using it you are also bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and, as a consequence of the API it uses, by Google’s Privacy Policy. The application does not download, extract, re-host or modify video; it plays through YouTube’s own embedded player, so that YouTube’s terms and its creators’ rights are respected as they would be on YouTube itself.

3. Your account

You sign in with your own Google account and grant the application access yourself. You may withdraw that access at any time, from within the application or from your Google account permissions. You are responsible for the account you sign in with, and for the use of any device on which the application is installed.

4. No warranty

tubem3 is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. It may stop working at any time, including because YouTube changes its API, and no undertaking is given to fix it.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the author is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, tubem3 — including loss of data. The application stores its data only on your device and offers an export; keeping a copy of anything you care about is your responsibility.

6. Changes

These terms may change, and the date above changes with them. Continuing to use the application after a change means accepting it.
